Building my running program (when I already walk about 20K steps a day)
I wondered if I was missing something when putting together my beginner running program… but time, persistence, & defeating some mental blocks may be all I need in the end.

I’m convinced: consistent wake-up times are more necessary than the amount of hours slept for my best health (so far)…
It’s a tricky line, because we DO need good sleep and plenty of it to do our best the next day, but a wishy-washy wake up can throw off a schedule just as badly.

I figured I’d spend time during the power outage at my house planning my shopping list, since I’m eventually going vegetarian and need to practice making good meals. And it’s Texas… cold meals in summer just makes sense.

Well… my Rockets’ loss was avenged tonight. Go, Timberwolves!!!
(still photo credit: TNT) Didn’t expect the much-hailed (and often envied) Warriors to fall in game 5… but I feel better knowing it took 7 tries to knock the Rockets down now (hee hee). It’s still an interesting season.
